"There this place that opened recently that I've been wanting to try. It's a place called Checkpoint located at B. Base. They serve local cuisine food like Nasi Lemak, Assam Laksa, as well as pastries like croissant and also western hot foods like burgers and chicken chops. I tried their honey walnut pastry and it was quite good. The amount of walnut was very generous and the taste was nice. They gave our table a free almond tart to try which they mention was something new they were working on. Really generous of them to do so and we enjoyed the tart as well. For mains, I tried their fried chicken chop and man was it delicious. One of the best chicken chops around town for the price and portion of it. The crust was crispy and flavorful and the chicken chop itself was huge, thick, and juicy! The mash potatoes was decent as well but definitely the chicken was the highlight of this dish. A friend of mine ordered their Nasi Lemak which came with a fried boneless chicken as well. He said everything was great especially the chicken but the 'sambal' was a little on the sour side which he didn't enjoy. Another friend ordered their big breakfast and it was fairly decent too. My brother ordered the fish fillet noodles and he said it was good. The ambience is really nice and rustic. A nice place to hangout and fairly decent food. Highly recommend their chicken chop if you are there for the first time."

"I enjoy the food and ambience. They serve in a big portion and the pastry is good too. I love their croquettes. It softs inside and crunchy outside. They serve you hot and the taste of the mozzarella cheese not too strong. I think everyone can eat it. Self serve plain water. The interior is interesting and the music is relaxing. You can enjoy your food while chatting with your friends. They provide free parking and spacious."

"It located at genting klang previous Lian Seng bus company. There are few eateries and this cafe is at right side of the place. It should put signage to show the way easier for people to get to the cafe. Food and ambience are nice. We are enjoy over there. Price is reasonable and food portion is big. The place is open air with few airconds, it is abit warm inside during afternoon time. This place is still worth to try out for their nasi lemak, big breakfast, seafood pasta, chicken chop."

"All day breakfast is quite a big portion. The bakeries taste good but are a bit pricey. It's a cozy place for breakfast and tea time! Not easy to spot the cafe cause it hides behind a car wash centre and beside Ai Home."

"The food here is surprisingly not bad. Didn't expect the quality of food was good especially the nyonya laksa. The pricing of drinks are quite pricy and wasn't that great so won't recommend the coffees here but the kudos to the chef. Service was slow but maybe because we went there for dinner and it was quiet. The usual brunch timing is always full and maybe they were tired. Wish they would consider more placing of tables rather than deco where easily can fit 2 to 3 more tables. Parking was okay since we went off peak hours."

"Location of Google doesn't bring you to the exact location, it will stop you few meters before reaching the actual location. Have to search for B.Base in order to reach your destination. Was a hidden cafe and there wasn't much sign that's very noticeable to show where the place is at. Ordered varieties of food such as beef burger, fried chicken chop and nasi lemak. The best among all was the beef burger which cost about rm20 including French fries tasted delicious. Fried chicken chop has too much dough and fats while the nasi lemak sambal tasted a little sour. Tried 4 pastry, all was unique and tasty except for the blueberry cheesecake which was a little dense and hard. Everything is self service and there's open parking spaces outside if you decide to dine here."
